Die Freude aller Teilnehmer war natürlich entsprechend groß und auch das Wetter konnte sich sehen lassen. Das Olympiastadion sah, dank unserer vielen Helfer, einfach großartig aus. Auch für leibliches Wohl wurde tatkräftig in Form von Kaltgetränken und diverser leckerer Speisen gesorgt. Alle teilnehmenden Nachbarschaften waren Feuer und Flamme.
Ein großes Dankeschön gilt unserem langjährigem Hauptsponsor Westenergie. Nach der feierlichen Eröffnung unseres Bürgermeisters Manuel Deitert, wurde das olympische Feuer durch Peter Sklorz entzündet. Auch in diesem Jahr ließen sich die Organisatoren einige kreative Spiele einfallen. In insgesamt 7 Disziplinen wurden unter anderem Koordination, Kraft, Durchhaltevermögen, Konzentration sowie Teamfähigkeit und Kommunikation abgefragt. Mit dem „Kisten rennen“, dem „Surfer“, dem „Bungee Basketball“, dem „Pferderennen“, dem „Speed Stepper“ und dem „Wasser Bomben“, ließen die Namen der Spiele schon die Augen aufleuchten. Alle Teilnehmer kamen voll auf ihre Kosten. Euphorie, Angst, Siegeswille, Ehrgeiz, einfach ein Freudenfest der Emotionen.
Natürlich konnte es am Ende nur einen Sieger geben, was den Kampfgeist ohnehin immer anfacht. Nachdem alle Disziplinen absolviert waren, stand der Sieger fest. „Klein Reken Nord“ holte sich erneut den Pokal. In der feierlichen Siegerehrung kürte Uwe Sarau „Neuenkamp“ als Platz 2 und „Böckeboom“ erreichte verdient den dritten Platz.
Alles in allem lässt sich sagen, dass die 10. Dorfolympiade wieder ein voller Erfolg gewesen ist. Für den SFR und Klein Reken ist es ein großartiges und einzigartiges Event für Groß und Klein. Wir freuen uns alle auf die 11. Dorfolympiade, welche hoffentlich genauso aufregend wird.

Start und Ziel ist die Sportanlage des Reit- und Fahrvereins, Berge 12. Gestartet werden kann zwischen 10:30 Uhr und 12:00 Uhr. Teilnahmebeitrag 1,00 € (Kinder unter 14 Jahren frei). Nachmittags findet eine Verlosung statt. Für die Beköstigung Ziel sorgt der RFV. Dieser veranstaltet mit eigenen und auswärtigen Gespannen an diesem Tag einen sogenannten Fahrertag.

eingangs möchten wir uns für die Unterstützung des Vereins durch Euch in der schwierigen Zeit bedanken.
Eine lange Zeit der Entbehrungen geht hoffentlich auf die Ziellinie zu.
Auf den letzten Metern müssen wir jedoch weiterhin standhaft bleiben und uns an die Vorgaben halten.
Aus diesen Grund wird, wie schon von den meisten gedacht, die Generalversammlung der Sportfreunde Klein Reken in den Herbst verschoben.
Ziel ist es, diese dann in gewohnter Manier abhalten zu können und auch unsere Gastronomen zu unterstützen.
Den genauen Termin werden wir zeitnah mitteilen.
Allen aktiven Mitgliedern möchten wir sagen, dass wir, sobald als möglich, alle Sportangebote wieder anbieten wollen.
Einzig im Bereich der Kindergruppe haben wir aktuell noch Probleme einen Neustart hin zu legen.
Wir benötigen hier dringend neue Übungsleiter-/innen um auch die Jüngsten wieder aktiv werden zu lassen.

Im Anschluss werden die regelmäßigen Übungsabende wieder Montags um 19:30 Uhr in der Sporthalle der Sekundarschule in Bahnhof Reken stattfinden.

wir möchten Euch über die folgenden anstehenden Veränderungen für unseren Kettlebell-Kurs informieren:
Der Trainingskurs Kettlebell wird ab Montag, den 07.09.2020 um 18.30 Uhr im Ludgeri Sportpark Groß Reken unter fachmännischer Leitung ausgebildeter Trainer fortgeführt. Um eine dauerhaft professionelle Durchführung des Kurses sicherstellen zu können, werden wir einen Obolus von 1€ pro teilgenommener Übungsstunde einsammeln.
Es ist angedacht mit 2 kostenfreien Schnupperstunden, inklusive genauer Erläuterung des wann und wie, am 07.09 und 14.09 jeweils um 18.30 Uhr zu starten (siehe Flyer).
Aufgrund von technischen Problemen konnten wir unseren WhatsApp-Newsletter nicht mehr über die gewohnte Nummer anbieten. Wir haben uns dazu entschlossen, unseren Newsletter unter einer neuen Telefonnummer anzubieten, um Euch weiterhin über Termine und Veranstaltungen auf dem Laufenden zu halten.

schon zum 26. Mal veranstaltet der GSV den Rekener Wandertag. In diesem
Jahr findet er am 6. Oktober statt. Start und Ziel ist das Vereinsheim im OT
Hülsten. Es geht auf eine etwa 10 km lange Strecke, die um 4 km abgekürzt
werden kann. Neben einem Erfrischungsstand an der Wanderstrecke sorgen der
Schützenverein Hülsten sowie das Betreiberehepaar des Hülstener Vereinsheims
für das leibliche Wohl am Zielort. Gestartet werden kann zwischen 10.30 und
12.30 Uhr.
Am vergangenen Freitag waren Karl Helfferich und Ralph Rickhoff im Namen der Sportfreunde Klein Reken in Groß Reken unterwegs.
Wie in den vergangenen Jahren wurde auch dieses Jahr ein Teil der Einnahmen des Volkslaufes gespendet.
Dieses Jahr durften sich die Kita „St. Heinrich“ und der Ev. Kindergarten „Der Gute Hirte“ über eine kleine Unterstützung freuen.
In beiden Fällen wird der Betrag von je €250,- für die Förderung der Bewegung der Kinder investiert.
Frau Niewerth (St. Heinrich) und Frau Rentmeister (Der Gute Hirte) freuten sich sehr und bedankten sich im Namen der Kinder für die Spende.
Am 31. August war es endlich so weit, ein Highlight sowohl für den SFR als auch für das ganze Dorf, stand vor der Tür: die 9. Klein Rekener Dorfolympiade. Das Wetter zeigte sich von seiner besten Seite und ließ das Olympiastadion erstrahlen, das schon frühzeitig von Mitgliedern des SFR vorbereitet worden ist und so einen prächtigen Eindruck machte. So strahlten bereits am frühen Morgen zahlreiche Banner der Sponsoren, von denen insbesondere der Energieversorger „innogy“ die Dorfolympiade seit Jahren tatkräftig unterstützt. Bis 12 Uhr waren alle zehn teilnehmenden Nachbarschaften eingetroffen und bereiteten sich mental mit Teambesprechungen und physisch mit Wasser und diversen Kaltgetränken auf die Wettkämpfe vor.
Nachdem die einzelnen Nachbarschaften durch den Moderator Stefan Heiming vorgestellt worden sind, wurde die Eröffnung der 9. Dorfolympiade durch zwei erste Höhepunkte abgeschlossen: die feierliche Übergabe des Pokals von dem Sieger des Vorjahres, dem Hubertustal, sowie das Entzünden des olympischen Feuers durch Jonas Rohkämper. Danach hieß es: „Lasset die Spiele beginnen.“
Insgesamt sechs Spiele galt es von den Mannschaften zu bestreiten, die unterschiedliche Herausforderungen zu meistern hatten. Abgefragt wurden unter anderem Kraft, Koordination, Konzentration, Ausdauer sowie Teamfähigkeit und Kommunikation. Das OKKR hat sich in diesem Jahr dazu entschlossen, mit „Biathlon“ und „Der Kletterwand“ zwei sehr beliebte Spiele aus den Vorjahren durchzuführen. Dazu kamen vier neue Disziplinen dazu, und zwar „Das laufende A“, „Bälle werfen“, „Der Radrenner“ und „Der heiße Draht“.
Schon vor Beginn des letzten Spiels verkündete Stefan Heiming, dass der Ausgang der Dorfolympiade in diesem Jahr sehr spannend werden würde, da immer noch acht von zehn Nachbarschaften den Pokal gewinnen könnten. So wurde der Kampfgeist der Athleten erneut entfacht. Nachdem alle Disziplinen gespielt worden waren, gab es jedoch nur noch einen Sieger und Uwe Sarau gab bereits am Anfang der Siegerehrung bekannt, dass es einen neuen Gewinner der olympischen Spiele in Klein Reken gibt. Den Pokal holte sich die Nachbarschaft „Klein Reken Nord“, jedoch mit nur einem hauchdünnen Vorsprung von einem einzigen Punkt vor „Böckeboom“. Und auch der dritte Platz war heiß umkämpft, da „Fosskesfeld“ und „Brimmings Kamp“ ebenfalls nur von einem Pünktchen getrennt worden sind.
Als Resümee lässt sich festhalten, dass die diesjährigen olympischen Spiele ein voller Erfolg gewesen sind. Deswegen freut sich nicht nur Klein Reken, sondern auch der SFR auf das zehnjährige Jubiläum dieser Veranstaltung im nächsten Jahr. Die 10. Klein Rekener Dorfolympiade, die am 20. Juni stattfinden wird, befindet sich bereits jetzt in Planung und soll dem Ganzen die Krone aufsetzen.
